Team Registration

Registration will take place at Iowa State University’s Sukup End Zone Club (SEZ Club).

Please note this is a different venue from the 2018 & 2022 Odyssey of the Mind World Finals.

Where can I find Sukup End Zone Club (SEZ Club)?

SEZ Club is located on the south side of Jack Trice Stadium and is near the intersection of University Blvd and SE 16th Street, Ames, IA. Sukup End Zone Club shares a parking lot with Reiman Gardens.

From Interstate 35 to US-30 West. Travel on US-30 West to South University Blvd in Ames. Take exit 146 from US-30 West to University Blvd. Continue North on University Blvd about 1-mile to the intersection of SE 16th Street and University Blvd. Turn left onto SE 16th Street and make another immediate left (it will appear you are entering Reiman Gardens parking lot).

Where can I park at Sukup End Zone Club (SEZ Club)?

There is free parking in lots S2, S3, S5 & S6. Please note that one or two of these lots will be closed to serve as our shuttle bus transfer station. Please avoid parking in Lot S1; this is Reiman Gardens parking lot.

Welcome to OM World Finals Registration

All team coaches must complete their OM WF registration upon arrival to Ames and Iowa State University.

Registration will be open:

Monday, May 20 – 2:00 pm – Midnight
Tuesday, May 21 – 12:00pm – Midnight
Wednesday, May 22 – 9:00 am – 12:00pm *

*Wednesday registration will take place in the Room 2630 at the Memorial Union located on the campus of Iowa State University.

Coaches

Please proceed to the 2nd level of Sukup End Zone Club to finalize your team’s registration process.

• Turn in team contract, medical, media release, and insurance waiver forms.  
• Receive your team’s housing assignment.
  • If assigned to a residence hall; you will receive your residence hall keys and further details.
  • If assigned to a team hotel; you will receive a map and directions and further details.
• Receive other important OM materials.

Teams

The 1st level of SEZ Club is available for teams to wait for their coaches while they finalize the registration process. Teams may pin trade, socialize with other Odyssey of the Mind participants, take a selfie at the OM photo station, flip through a Discover Ames visitors’ guide, or purchase your 2024 OM apparel and swag at the souvenir/merchandise stand.

Late Night Arrivals

We strongly encourage teams to arrive to Ames and Iowa State University during the published registration hours, but understand that this may not be possible due to travel delays, etc. Please check back to this page for updated information on late night arrival process.

Once you arrive

•  Check in at Sukup End Zone Club
•  Check on your props at the prop information table at Registration on Monday and Tuesday, or at the Memorial Union Information Desk on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
•   Locate assigned residence area, hotel, and dining center.
•  Stop by the Info Desk in the Memorial Union if you need information after arriving on campus.
•  After your arrival, have your team members give family members at home their housing location and front desk phone number.
•  Rock climbing release forms are taken at the time of use in the recreation center.
